Jangan pakai 4 cell utk memutar prop 7 x 6

Description says will take a 4S at 14.8v .. I've tried running with a 7x6 prop at 4S.. and motor overheats and dies. Did I just have a defective motor? Is there a prop setup that it will run on a 4S? If not, any suggestions on an alternative motor this size that will run a 4S?

I belive that overload current to the motor... try test any smaller propeller... you can rewinding the motor: can be great. Search the appropiete copper wire.

mmmm it says 7x6 with a 3s battery will give about 700 grams thrust a 4s with 7x6 will kill this motor as you found, you need to reduce the prop size! if you increase the volts from 11.1 to 14.8 you are trying to spin that prop 25 faster which will increase the draw amps beyond a 7x6 on 3s which draws about 15 amps and 700 grms thrust you can put 5x5 on 4s and you may get the same thrust !!!!!

i saw, the description is wrong... do not use with 4s or loose it. the frame cames with a description - to 11,1v it means 3s in max

Saya jadi kepengen bikin aliran coro, bikinnya simple...lebih mudah dari foam.
Om WR ada plan coro yg midwing/low wing? WS sekitar 120cm...
Saya ada stok motor Power HD 2830, ESC Dynam 40A, servo 5 biji.

BTW, kemarin nerbangin punya Om Yuehan WS 120cm dalam kondisi angin kencang seperti nggak punya bobot, terlalu ringan dibanding SBach saya (foam) yg WS nya ga beda jauh 125cm.

Itu yang kemaren di gudang saya ws nya juga sekitar 120 cm
